we want to speak with you about the new functionalities.
UPLOAD YOUR PERSONAL BUDDY ICON:
YES! Now you can upload your personal buddy icon. Allowed formats are: GIF or JPG.
- First of all, go in “MY SETTINGS” and click on “UPLOAD your buddy”.
- Then, you have to upload your image ( max size: 800 x 600 ) and cut image to create a little square.
- Clicking “cut image” your pic will be automatically resize and it will appear in your buddy. Remember to SAVE settings.
5MEGA FOR EACH PHOTO:
We have increased the uploader to 5Mega for each photo.
NEW SECTION “EXPLORE”:
We have opened a new section of the site named EXPLORE. Here you’ll see the last 10 photos, random photos by the users, the last 10 users and last comments.

Hi guys! Welcome to Pix-Yu. At the moment this project is being released as a beta version because there is, as usual in this situation, the need to discover well hidden and unusual problems and bugs before releasing the final version.
Pix-Yu is an online virtual space where a user can share life experiences, events, journeys, holidays, meetings and much more, by uploading (unlimited) pictures.
In this way, it’s possible to connect an event to an unlimited number of items and to each item an unlimited number of pictures. In the present beta release, it is possible to create maximum ten events for each registered user, but we are almost ready for the final version of the website, where the user will have the chance to choose from different types of PRO accounts (silver and gold).
Pix-Yu members can communicate together through the internal messaging system that allows speaking and exchanging messages, and receiving notifications via e-mail.
The web interface is friendly and fast and permits instant browsing. To register, it is necessary to fill three fields (username, password and email) and to confirm it all once via email. Immediately after the user will be able to modify the account’s personal profile customizing it freely, integrating it with Google Map, a Flickr account and much more.
