Photos accessibility
In these days we’ve spoke with Roberto Ellero, about the accessibility of the photos in Pix-Yu and we provide to the users a way to insert a long description of their photos. In this way the text can be readily output to speech synthesizers and braille displays, and can be presented visually (in a variety of sizes) on computer displays and paper. Synthesized speech is critical for individuals who are blind and for many people with the reading difficulties that often accompany cognitive disabilities, learning disabilities, and deafness.
Infact, converting text into visual information allow to deepen the understanding of the works and so it’s useful for everyone.
